1. Mod on Twitch with Command
The easiest way to make someone a mod on Twitch is by simply type in the chat the following command:
/mod [USERNAME]
You just need to replace the [USERNAME] with the desired person. For example /mod loluser11. Then hit enter, and you’re ready to go.
2. Make mod by clicking on Profile
If the person who would like to make mod is online and watching your stream, then click on it’s profile. Then on the right hand sight you will find the “mod” option. That’s it.
3. Use the Roles Manager
There’s a third option that you can use, that is Roles Manager. In this feature you have more option to manage the roles, and you can see all of the users whose have some permission to your account. Let’s go the the Creator Dashboard.
On the left side, select Roles Manager under the Community tab.
And now you’ll see how many users are currently have some role on your channel. You can add add new roles, or modify the current one. In this option you can add any user a role, and you can also select it by clicking the user picture.

First and foremost is that you need to pick someone who is decent and can make decisions without a doubt. If some of your viewers get into some sort of misbehaviour the mod should make it clear and speak independently.
